My MN Outdoor Fireplaces and Outdoor Kitchens are different from my competition because all my outdoor kitchens and outdoor fireplaces are built with solid masonry. I build all my MN outdoor kitchens and MN outdoor fireplaces with a concrete footing and foundation. My outdoor kitchens, outdoor fireplaces, and wood fired pizza ovens are built using brick, block, natural stone, and concrete. Why is this important? Most of my competition builds outdoor kitchens by either frame building out of wood or steel and then putting cement board over the framing and installing stone over the cement board. They do not realize that cement board is not rated for outdoor use. After a few Minnesota seasons of rain and snow the cement board falls apart or the framing warps or deteriorates.
